The Belly

This is my belly picture. All of my friends on facebook were bugging me for one so I put this one up. But I like it so I'm putting it up here, too.

The Verdict

TD and I went to the doctor yesterday to have the 'big' ultrasound! The nurse told us wether it was a boy or a girl and also told us the due date. This was also the first time for TD to ever see the baby at all. Not to mention the fact that we both got to see it on the 4D ultrasound as well as hear the baby's heartbeat together. It was so amazing, especially since the baby has started kicking and moving since I got to see it last. (I drank a large sweet tea about an hour before we went and he was all over the place!) Here are a few pictures as well as the info you have all been waiting for! Just by the way, this was taken at 22 weeks and 2 days.

This is our baby

Due date: January 26th, 2011

I think the little foot is absolutely precious

It's a baby boy!!!! (and he's not shy about it either haha)

Our little fighter

The most amazing thing I have ever seen

So there you have it, our baby boy at 22 weeks and 2 days. Due January 26th, 2011. We are so happy!!!

Ready for the Big Surprise!

I'm so excited! Tomorrow, Firday, September 24th, my boyfriend is coming up for the weekendand we havn't seen each other in about two weeks. This is really hard for us because of the baby, he feels like he is missing out on so much of getting to watch it develope and each new thing that happens. I feel bad for him because since the last time I saw him, the baby has already started kicking and has grown so big so fast! However, this weekend he will be here for three days and I am not leaving his side unless I have to pee. I will make sure that he gets to experince every kick because I want him to be a part of this as much as he does.

Now you might be thinking, "What makes this weekend so special, that he is coming to stay for three days and that there is a whole blog post about it?" and the answer is that tomorrow at 2:00PM is my next ultrasound appointment. Here's a hint: I'm 22 weeks now. Still don't have it? It's the appointment where the doctor tells us whether it's a boy or a girl!!!

This is the first appointment that my boyfriend is going to be able to make it to so it's also his first time to ever see the baby. That makes tomorrow a very special day for all of us!

I'm so super excited that I don't even hardly know what to do with myself! Anyway, post a comment, tell me what you think! Boy or Girl? (No, I don't care if you know me or not, base it off your own first-child experiences or just because you think one is cuter than the other. haha Just give me some feedback.)

Next Necessity

This is the product I have actually been using since I found out I was pregnant. It’s a miracle oil for stretch marks, blotchy skin, wrinkles, uneven tone, every skin problem you can imagine. It’s not only for pregnant women but I recommend it to any woman who is pregnant. It’s called BioOil.

It’s an amazing product that if used religiously (like I do) can prevent you from ever even seeing those stupid little stretch marks. Example: I’m about 5 times the size I was around my stomach and my breasts have grown two cup sizes… and I don’t have a single stretch mark. I call it skin-crack, ha, but really it’s just an oil that has everything in it to maintain healthy, elastic, beautiful skin.
After I rub it into my stomach, sides, breasts, upper thighs, and lower back I use whatever is left on my hands to keep the blotchy skin color away from my face. It really is the product you need to keep that healthy pregnant-glow in your face and other skin. I love it.

Every Mom-to-Be Needs:

Instead of buying a new pair of jeans or maternity jeans every time I outgrew them, I decided I'd get this instead to save money:
The BeBand from Bella Band

This thing is the greatest thing I have ever had! I'm currently in college and the fact that I don't have the money (or the time) to buy new maternity jeans this early in my pregnancy every time I can't button a pair means that I needed something easy, something that was just ONE thing that could solve all my problems, and here it is! I'm so happy with this that I recommend it to any new mom that is just now starting to have issues with he jeans not fitting right. Or even someone that is well through their pregnancy or done with it whose pants keep falling down or get pushed down by her belly. I'm 5 months and I know that every single time I wake up, another pair of pants are simply not going to fit anymore. I don't mean they are just too tight, I mean they just don't fit. This is the solution, and I'm sure will be my solution, for many months to come.

Little Mister Little Miss

I'm twenty weeks pregnant. Next Friday, September 24th, the doctor will tell us if it's a boy or a girl. I'm so excited that I don't even know what to do with myself. The baby's kicking is becoming more and more noticable as well as persistant. We have been calling the baby a boy for a while, most likely because that's what I feel like it is and because we have wanted a boy. I'm going to laugh if the doctor says it's a girl. I'm so ready to see little baby on the screen again, it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen. I hope everything goes well on my next visit. I want everything to be perfect for this baby.
